Volunteer Opportunities
An after-school snack, a friend to sit with, a new box of crayons, a smile of encouragement -- to many of us, these seem like little things. But to a scared child or a family in crisis, it can be the little things that make such a big difference. Opportunities abound to provide small and big moments of joy when you volunteer at The Family Center.
As a nonprofit agency, The Family Center relies on the talents and gifts of time offered by our valued community members to support our programs and services. There are a variety of ways you can help us grow hope for the many needy children and families in our area. For example, we need: |
| | »
| Volunteers to work with children and families during evening and afternoon service programs | | | » | Waiting room volunteers to accompany and play with children | | | » | Administrative support with copying, filing and data entry | | »
| Treetops volunteers - opportunities to work at our TreeTops property to clear trails, tackle maintenance projects, serve meals and more | | | » | Special events assistance | | | » | Items such as housewares, children's clothing and infant supplies | | | »
| Done-in-a-day service projects at The Family Center - great for large groups! |
